In the cultural centre "Pokrovskiye Vorota" students of Olga Martynova from Moscow conservatory and Moscow Special Gnessin Music School will perform harpsichord and early chamber music.

One of the most ingenious works by J.S.Bach will play one of the brightest Russian performers, docent of the Department of Historical and Contemporary Performing Art of the Moscow Conservatory Maria Uspenskaya.
The fourth concert in the frame of the concert cycle "Baroque Wednesday" is dedicated to 25th anniversary of harpsichord class in Gnessin special music school constantly leading by Olga Martynova.

Master classes are held on orchestral and baroque instruments, piano, organ and vocal; the practice of playing in a symphony orchestra.
Among the teachers of the Gnessin Summer School is Olga Martynova — harpsichord, hammerklavier. Even if you have never in your life touched a keyboard instrument, you have a chance to do it with one of the greatest masters of the world.
It is a unique educational project, which gives the opportunity to learn the performing experience of leading musicians, to hear their performance in the concerts, to become a participant of the Final concert. Master classes are held on orchestral and baroque instruments, piano, organ and vocal; the practice of playing in a symphony orchestra.
Among the teachers of the Gnessin Summer School is Olga Martynova — harpsichord, hammerklavier. Even if you have never in your life touched a keyboard instrument, you have a chance to do it with one of the greatest masters of the world.

Our traditional March concert only with J. S. Bach's music, including obligatory "Musikalisches Opfer" performance, is always one of the most important concerts of each season. For the first time in Gnessin Baroque ensemble concerts one of the famous Russian organists Feodor Stroganov will be played on the great organ of The House on Znamenka.
